DeMunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service acquires historic Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home building; announces Confluence Hall
DeMunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service has acquired the building formerly known as Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, recognized as the first structure in New York State purpose-built as a funeral home. With deep respect for its legacy, the building is being reimagined as Confluence Hall, a flexible community event space designed for gatherings, celebrations of life, meetings, performances, and private functions. DeMunn is also growing its staff to better serve families across Broome County.
