Yetta Kammerman Gruber Gilinsky

Yetta Gilinsky, born in Long Branch, New Jersey, formerly of Binghamton, New York, Palm Springs, California, and Sarasota, Florida, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 in Sarasota at the age of 100. She was predeceased in 1999 by her husband of 65 years, Hyman. She is survived by her children Stanley (Sabina) Gilinsky, Sarasota, Linda (Ronald) Klineman, Sarasota, and Charles (Susan) Gilinsky of Vestal, New York. She is also survived by her beloved seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Temples Israel in Vestal and Palm Springs and their sisterhoods, and of Temple Emanu-El in Sarasota, Hadassah, Brandeis University Women's Organization, the Jewish Federation of Greater Binghamton, and the Jewish Community Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.

Funeral services will be held at Ernest H. Parsons
Funeral Home, Inc. 71 Main Street Binghamton, officiated by Rabbi Tziona Szajman at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 7, 2011 with burial at Temple Israel Riverside Cemetery in Conklin, New York.
Contributions in her memory can be made to Temple Israel in Vestal, The Jewish Community Center in Vestal, and Temple Emanu-El at 151 McIntosh Road, Sarasota, FL. Shiva will be observed at the home of Susan and Charles Gilinsky.
