Xavier J.M. Cooper, 9, passed away on March 9, 2022 after a lifelong battle with asthma. His family cherishes his memory as the brief gift it was. Born May 25. 2012 to Tayneal Camber and Michael Cooper Sr. He was a charismatic, athletic, funny, and a loving child especially when it comes to his family and friends. He was full of life, goals and dreams. He was the light of his parents eyes and a superhero to his siblings. He loved sports, TikTok and playing his PS5. Xavier was very talented in everything he did. He also enjoyed music, listening and making it himself with his saxophone. Xavier also loved spending time with his pets Gotti, Storm and Sub-Zero. Xavier was known by his friends and family to be smart, ambitious, and ready for anything.
He was predeceased by his great-grandmothers; Eva Mae Kendrick, Iola Tarver and Irene Fregeolle, great aunt Rhonda Harrell, uncles; Woody Hawkins, Ronnie Davis and James High
Xavier is survived by his parents Tayneal A. Camber and Michael J. Cooper Sr., his siblings; Michael J. Cooper Jr., E'rianna S. Cooper, A'Mya T. Cooper, Tatyana D. Cooper, Taniyah A. Cooper, Jayla B. Cooper and Barbara A. Smith, grandparents; Leaverne B.Lane, Willie F. Hubbert, Andrew and Martha Camber and Kathy and Roger Fregeolle. Xavier also leaves behind his aunts; Natalie Camber, Colette Wolcott and Cassandra Bleck, uncles; Zac Camber, Shon Camber, Martin Cooper, Nigel Cooper, Shupin Cooper and James Sharpe nieces; Xariyah S. Hickman, Milani A. Smith and Azariah A. Smith as well as his best friends Layla Merritt, Lathen Merritt, London Hodges and Makayla Robinson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the First Congregational Church, 30 Main Street Binghamton, NY 13905 with Pastor Gregory Jones officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Friday, March 18. 2022. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com .
