Willie Lee Harris

Willie Lee Harris, 80, passed away May 29, 2022. He was born May 3, 1942 in Americus, Georgia. Willie was known for his quick wit, the ability to make anyone laugh with his countless stories and jokes, his fierce love for his wife, children and family. He will be remembered by his friends and family as a hardworking, loving, supportive, honest and dependable man who will be greatly missed. He was predeceased by his parents King Solomon and Viola Harris, sisters, Shirley Ann, Willie Mae and Minnie Kate and brothers, Arthur, King Solomon, Jr., King David and grandson Eric Dantzler. Willie is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Juanita, children, Johnny and Barbara Knighton, John Harris, Marnita Johnson and Willie and Christina Harris, Jr., treasured grandchildren Aaron, Jaron, Kalia, Anthony, Shay and Ian, Ethan, Monica, Austin, Anton, Maria, Alex, Joey great-grandchildren: Tanaya, Tamar, Emmy “Heavy Chevy”, Ella and Lunan, great great-grandson, Braylen, nephew and best friend Al Washington. He leaves behind numerous cousin, nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held 6:00 pm, Friday, June 3, 2022 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Superintendent Arthur Jones officiating.
