William James Torto of Conklin William James Torto, 69, of Conklin, passed away Monday September 9, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Born September 22 ,1943 in Binghamton, New York the son of the Late Anthony and Anna Torto. William was also predeceased by his son Richard. William was a member of the first graduating class of Susquehanna High School. He served with the United States Air Force as an Airman Second Class. He owned and operated Willy's Cafe in Conklin. William was a member of the Halstead American Legion Post # 357, an avid golf and football fan. William is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Wilma (Maroney) Torto, Conklin, his son Martin Joseph Torto and his fiancé Donna Marie Nelson, also of Conklin, as well as several nieces nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday September 17th from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at the Ernest H.
