William J. Clauson, born on October 17, 1980, in Endicott, NY, will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and loving nature. Tragically, he passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 44, due to an anoxic brain injury. His transition leaves a profound impact on family and friends, who will carry the echoes of his laughter and the warmth of his love in their hearts.
William is survived by his beloved fiancée, Heather Miller; his cherished daughters, Madison, Caylyx, Cadence, and Cheyanna Clauson; his son, William Junior Clauson; his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Bernard Miller; and his mother, Patricia Vinyl. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Clauson, and his brothers, Harry, Albert Jr., and Charles Clauson.
A devoted father, son, brother, and partner, William found his greatest joy in the company of his family. He had the remarkable ability to make others feel valued and appreciated, and his kindness touched everyone he met. His love for his family was evident in all that he did, and though his time with us was far too brief, the legacy of love, strength, and joy he leaves behind will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Lourdes Hospital for their unwavering support and respect shown to William during his stay. Your kindness was a source of comfort in this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate William's remarkable life and the cherished memories he created with all of us. Details will be shared as plans are finalized, and we invite all who knew and loved him to join in honoring his spirit.
Though we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the joyous moments we shared with William, as his legacy will live on in our stories and hearts forever.
