William E. Bryan, 86, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026. Bill was a person who would be a friend to all. He never married but spent his younger years taking care of his extended family. He took his nieces on road trips frequently stopping at McDonald's for his favorite meal. A burger and a cup of coffee. Uncle Bill used to visit Violet for dinner and take care of the horses. He brought many animals as pets for the girls, chickens, pigs, rabbits, lambs and goats. His nephew Keith purchased him a radio which was one of Uncle Bill's most treasured possessions. Bill also loved to draw, especially pictures of cars, many with Keith. His niece Tammy spent many hours of her youth riding bicycles with Bill. Bill had two "girlfriends" June Sadler and Janet Rodriguez who were both married, and never failed to tell Irene Phillips she was beautiful

Bill worked at Vestal Hills Country Club for many years, working in the kitchen as well as doing all the maintenance on the golf carts. He loved to walk and be outdoors. He retired from the country club for health reasons and lived with his nephew and niece until their death. Care of Bill was then passed to his niece Tina.

He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Florence Bryan, Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Florence Bryan, Jr., several nieces and nephews, especially Kenneth and Ethel Bryan. William is survived by his niece, Tina Bryan and Christine Darby who were his caretakers for the past ten years, niece, Violet Bryan, niece and nephew, Tammy and Scott Strickland and nephew and niece, Keith and Tara Bryan and many great nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Interment will follow services in Union Cemetery, Peckville, Pennsylvania. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of services.
