IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wayne Allen
Schulz
June 9, 1959 – November 11, 2025
Wayne Allen Schulz, 66, was called to rest on November 11th, 2025 at his home in Binghamton, NY. He was born on June 9th, 1959 in Cudahy, WI to parents Rudolph Schulz and Leona (Schmidt) Schulz.
Wayne was a 1977 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Wauatosa, WI and obtained a degree from Waukesha Area Technical College in 1979. Wayne's 46-year career as an electrical engineer for General Electric, Eaton, BAE, Lockheed-Martin and others spanned a variety of industries including broadcasting, medical equipment, defense, public transportation, and renewable energy.
He was a determined do-it-yourselfer and spent much of his free time building, fixing, or tinkering in his home workshop, electronics lab, or garage. He loved the natural beauty of the outdoors and some of his most treasured memories were traveling to see solar eclipses and canoeing and camping on the Wisconsin River. He was an enthusiastic follower of developments in science and technology and could spend hours discussing the latest news in engineering, aviation, and space exploration.
But above all, Wayne cared deeply for his family and friends. His memory will be treasured by his wife, Roxanne (Bartoshevich) Schulz, his children Ryan Schulz (Meredith Hudson) and Abbey (Casey) Kroll, his siblings Eunice Menk, Everett Schulz, and Jane Corman, his in-laws Michael (Darlene) Bartoshevich, Cynthia Waters, and Charmaine (Douglas) Hintz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and his in-laws Roland Menk, Judy (Nowak) Schulz, and Alexander "Sonny" Bartoshevich.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor in the spring or summer of 2026 in the greater Milwaukee area. Details will be provided.
