Tracy Jones Miller, 54, lost her short courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Syracuse, NY, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her parents, Charles and Eloise Jones, her children, Megan, Bethany, and Garrett Miller, her brother Chris Jones, sister, Colleen Crane, and nephew Benjamin Crane. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She graduated from SUNY Cortland and Marywood University, and spent many years working at Wyoming Conference Children's Home. She spent the last 13 years working as a Special Education teacher at West Middle School. She loved all her students and had the unique ability to bring out the best in each of them. The family wishes to extend many thanks to her friends and colleagues at West Middle for their gifts of love and generosity. Also many thanks to the Crouse Hospital 4-South Unit, as well as Dr. Bunn and his staff, for their extraordinary care and comfort provided to Tracy and her family. Her children were her world, and she cherished time spent with them at her favorite beach, Chincoteague Island, VA.
