With a heavy heart, I announce the unexpected passing of my dear brother, Todd J. Bixby. He passed from renal failure, on July 21, 2026, peacefully, at our home. He was 63, born on September 29th, 1962.

Todd belong to the class of 1980 at Harpursville Central High School. He lived near Perch Pond, Nineveh, NY, for most of his life.

Todd was pre-deceased by our beautiful mother, Barbara Hromada Bixby, whom we both cared for in her later years. Also a special cousin/sister, Annette Bixby Hendrickson and a best friend, Thomas Taylor.

Todd is survived by our father, Roland G. Bixby, whom Todd has taken care of, for the past twelve years. Me, his loving sister and best friend, Angie Bixby Scott, his "Baby Girl" niece/goddaughter, Jenna R. Marble, whom he shared a loving bond. Ernest H. Scott, his favorite brother in law, whom he loved and looked up to. Also, his great friends, Bruce, Bill, Everett and Iva, Doug and many others.

Todd helped Angie develop and build their Pet Grooming business for over 30 years. We had fun and enjoyed working together with the animals. Todd was a Master Carpenter who could build anything. I will miss working on projects with him and watching them come beautifully to fruition. Todd was always known for wearing one of his many Fedora hats, his trademark, along with that twinkle in his eyes and his quick wit sense of humor. Todd enjoyed Sportsmanship: fishing, boating, hunting, camping and traveling. He also loved dancing and following his favorite bands. Recently, he found joy in painting ceramic and cement statues and figurines. He made many of these, as treasured gifts for family and friends.

Todd loved cooking and baking and being a Chef. We would share cooking for the holidays and parties. Todd was known for his famous Zita and racks of ribs and of course, his luscious Cheesecakes! He was also known for baking cupcakes and cookies and delivering them to his neighbors who couldn't get out much at Christmas time. Todds most prized treasure, was building his Man Cave. He loved hosting billiard parties, as he was a Shark, sinking difficult bank shots. He loved his hot tub and he decorated the cave with many commissioned painted saws. He also enjoyed cranking out rock and roll on vinyl, from his massive record collection. Todd absolutely loved his many dogs over the years and always fed his wildbirds.

Most of our favorite memories will be about time spent with family, as we all were very close. Those times we will surely miss. We had plans to make more memories, moving south all together, in the near future, however our plans were cut way too short. We always had each others back, our entire lives. I feel like half of my heart is missing and I lost my "Left Hand Man". I do thank God for giving me 63 years with the very best brother, that I could ever ask for!

Todds favorite sayings are, "Be kind, mean people suck" and "Life is too short, so love and hug your loved ones dearly". We could all learn from these sayings.

We will miss you and love you Brothert forever and never forget you. How could we ever forget, when there are so many wonderful memories to treasure!

I did keep my promise to you, by bringing you home.
