Theodore Harris

Theodore (Teddy) Harris passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Teddy was born on May 14, 1927 and lived his entire life in the Triple Cities area. Teddy loved to draw and was a very talented and recognized artist. He was predeceased in death by his mother, Geraldine Harris Bender, his sister Jessie B. Walker, two favorite brother-in-laws Earl Walker and Otto Toby Johnson, three favorite nephews Gene Walker, John Lewis and Brad Johnson. Teddy is survived by his loving sister Edna Johnson Cunningham and a host of special loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Teddy was well known for his artistic work and his dry sense of humor. He loved a good laugh, never had a lot to say but always knew exactly what was going on.

The family of Theodore are very appreciative to Absolut Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility, Endicott, NY for the loving care and attention shown to him over the many years of his residence.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm, Monday, April 17, 2023 at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, 203 Oak Street Binghamton, NY 13905. Family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 am until the time of services. Interment will follow at Spring Forrest Cemetery.  Arrangements for the family are directed by the DeMunn Funeral Home.
