Teresa McGuire Winans, 85 of Conklin passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and love for her family and friends. She was born on October 3, 1940, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Teresa was predeceased by her parents, Norbert and Agnes McGuire, and by her beloved husband, James Winans.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Christopher (Cassandra) Winans of Conklin and Jason (Jessica) Winans of Leesburg, Virginia. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her grandsons, Jordan and Jake Winans, both of Leesburg, Virginia. Teresa is also survived by her dear friend, Terri Castellano, whose friendship meant so much to her.

Teresa dedicated more than 35 years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse at Binghamton General Hospital. She performed many roles as a nurse at the hospital.

Outside of her work and family, Teresa was an avid and loyal fan of the New York Yankees, a passion she enjoyed sharing with those around her.

Teresa will be remembered for her kindness, fun, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
