Teofilo Bawas of Binghamton, NY was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world suddenly on June 1, 2021 at age 97.

He was born in Sison, Pangasinan Province, Philippines on December 25, 1923. As a policeman and then also a minister for the United Methodist Church; Teofilo met his first wife of 46 years, Regina. Together, they had 4 children: Tito, Rebecca, Remegia, and Teofilo Jr.

Teofilo is also survived by his loving wife Delia Bawas, and children Shayne and Franklyn Macose.

Teofilo legacy lives on with his 7 grandchildren: Jonathan, Melody, Falcon, Elmer, April Jane, Remia, and Ronald.

He also has 9 great-grandchildren: Elaina, Jerome, Jaden, George Teofilo (GT), Kent, Qata, Jenny, Janna, and Alex

Teofilo is an active member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Binghamton, NY.  He spent his time caring for the family that surrounded him with his loving presence.

A service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2020 at 1 PM at Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home at 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY.
