Stephen T. Hawkins, 71, of Apalachin, New York, rode off into the great beyond on October 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on September 13, 1955, Stephen was a son to Earl Hawkins Jr. and Barbara Babcock-O'Dell, and he was preceded in death by both of them, along with his brother, Charles Hawkins. He is survived by his loving sister, Bonnie Sullivan, his sister Christina (William) Davidson, his long-time significant other, Nanette Tomchick, and a large extended family who will cherish his memory.

A lover of life and an adventurer at heart, Stephen was a natural at embracing new hobbies and interests. He delighted in watching NASCAR races, baseball, and football, and could often be seen riding his beloved Harley-Davidson or enjoying the serene waters on his boat. His passion for life inspired all who crossed his path.

In honor of Stephen's vibrant life and the joy he brought to so many, services will be held to celebrate his legacy. Details of the memorial service will be announced at a later date, allowing friends and family to gather and share their cherished memories of a life well-lived.

Though he may have left this earthly realm, Stephen's laughter, stories, and unwavering spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His journey may have taken him beyond, but his love will remain with us forever.
