March 22, 1936 – December 5, 2024
Stanley G Gilinsky 88, passed peacefully surrounded by love and family on December 5th.
He was a devoted husband & loving father to his wife Sabina Gilinsky, his daughter and son in law Joy Gilinsky Harris & Jim Harris , son and daughter in law, Lewis and Mimi Gilinsky, grandchildren Valentina Monte and Harris Monte, Jimmy Gilinsky & Maureen Perry, Jake and Kath Gilinsky, his sister Linda Klineman (Ronald), his brother Charles Gilinsky(Susan), Step children & step grandchildren, Tony Mincolla( Maria) Giuliana & Rafaela, Rhonda Mincolla , Theo, Preston & William as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Hyman and Yetta Gilinsky. He was beloved by all.
Stan Gilinsky attended Valley Forge Military Academy and Binghamton High School. He Graduated Syracuse University and was a member of AEPi Fraternity. He made his home in Binghamton working & growing the family car dealerships, Rambler City, Public Service Chrysler Plymouth & GMC Subaru as well as Arrow Ford.
His love of automobiles and the car business was a lifelong passion & it defined him.
He later pursued a career in commercial real estate in Binghamton & continued dabbling after he retired & moved to Sarasota Fla. Tho he loved Sarasota his heart remained in Binghamton, he read The Binghamton Press everyday.
Stan's calming presence & caring ear was sought out and appreciated by everyone who knew him. He is so very loved and will be profoundly missed.
Funeral will be Wednesday December 11 at Temple Israel, Vestal NY
Greeting at 10 am followed by Services at 11. After there will be a graveside service at Temple Israel Riverside Cemetery.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Charles and Susan Gilinsky, Vestal,NY
