Ruthana Dunham

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Ruthana Dunham, 92, passed away August 20, 2018. Ruth was widowed at an early age and worked successfully at raising her family of five children on her own. Her children loved her deeply and will forever carry her in their hearts. She graduated from the Triple Cities School of Beauty Culture and owned and operated her own beauty salon in Park Avenue in Binghamton. Three years ago, Ruth retired to sunny Florida and enjoyed life there. She was a member of the Port Crane Baptist Church and later attended Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church in Binghamton. She was predeceased by her husband Rodney in 1964, and granddaughter, Megan Dunham. Ruth is survived by her children; Laura and Glen Lindsey, Pamela and Rusty Jones, Keith and Lillian Dunham, Rick and Aw Dunham and Joel and Joan Dunham, treasured grandchildren; Rodney Dunham, Erin Dunham, Joshua Dunham, Caroline Bates, Brad Lindsey, Lee Dunham, Jerome Dunham, Michael Dunham, Casey Jones, Carson Jones, Calahan Jones and Dan Dunham and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00pm, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the DeMunn Funeral Home,36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Interment will follow services in Kattelville Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
