Rosemarie Ann Whittemore

Rosemarie Ann Whittemore, 76, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2024. Born on July 7, 1947 in Johnson City, NY, Rosemarie was a devout Christian who lived for her family. She graduated from Vestal High School in 1965 and married the love of her life, William, in 1966. Rosie was a strong military wife holding down the home front while her husband served as a medic in Vietnam. Her boys and her “little girl” were her whole world.

Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband, William Whittemore; parents, Burt and Mable Berry; and grand-daughter, Ashley Whittemore. She is survived by her sons Mark, Michael (Theressa) and Jason (Jocelyn); daughter Tammy Whittemore (Tom); grandchildren Nathan, Ryan, Jessica (Paul), Samantha (Nina), Brandon (Liency), Tyler, Jack, Justin, Jasmine, Jennifer, Lexi, Aiden, Macey and Tomas; great-grandchildren Savannah, Declan, Giovanni, Noah and Nevaeh; sister Ruth (Perminder) Wadhwa; sister-in-law Margaret Whittemore; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Point Church, 3701 Vestal Rd. Vestal, NY. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Vestal Hills Memorial Park in Vestal, NY. Rosie loved flowers, so flowers can be sent in her memory to DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Ave, Binghamton, NY.
