Today we come together to share in Ronald Reeves memories and the love we all have for him. He was born in Newark, New Jersey to the late Roosevelt and Joyce Reeves. Ronald attended East Orange High School. He later became a certified barber and a chef. Ronald was a son, brother, cousin, uncle, father, husband to a family who truly loved him. He was his own person, and some would say, he did things his way. Ronald truly loved family. He was predeceased by his parents Roosevelt and Joyce Reeves and sister Audrey LaNier. Ronald is survived by his wife Tamiko Reeves; children; Starr James, Tekeia Broomes, Maiya Beaty, Amanda Guzman. Tamara Reeves; 10 grandchildren: Shavon Sheffield, Shagoitte and Starrasia James, Malakai and Tekei Shell, Chynna Beaty, Za'miyah Watkins, Ma'quel Guzman, Jayde Mottley, Justina Colon and one great grandson, Asaad Parrish. He leaves behind his siblings, sisters, Ann Reeves, Theresa Volmar, Denise Lynch, brothers: Rahim Muhammad, Eli (Dawn) Muhammad, Maliki Freedom, and Robert Reeves and host of relatives and friends. Ronald also leaves memorable childhood friends: Tawanna King, Natalie Broomes, Lenelle Wright, and Sylvester Swint (cousin and dear friend) There are no guarantees for tomorrow, so please make the most of today.
