Robert James Burke

Robert James Burke, age 76, of Endicott, NY, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2022. Robert was born on May 2, 1945 to the late Ethel and Richard Burke. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Airforce during the Vietnam War. In his free time, Robert loved golfing and traveling. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Robert is predeceased by his first wife, Dolores L. Burke; second wife, Linda G. Burke; Survived by his children, Andrew Burke, Lon Burke (wife Lauren), Lori Schultz (husband Josh) and Ryan Oplinger (wife Brittani); niece, Kathy Anderson and nephew, Ricky Boeck, III. Robert leaves behind many loving grandchildren. Service of Military Honors will be held 4:00 pm Friday, February 11, 2022 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Mount Upton in the spring.
