Robert J. "Breeze" Brown, 71, of Binghamton, New York, went to be with his God and higher power on July 29, 2026. Bob lived a life full of love, laughter, and profound connections with those fortunate enough to know him.

​Predeceased by his beloved parents, James Brown and Dorothy "Dottie" Katon. in-laws, Jack V. Neal, Toni and Larry Monahan, uncle and aunt, Jim and Norma Smith and best friend Dan O' Brien.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 39 wonderful years, Mary "Baby Cakes" Brown,Their bond was a true testament to love, filled with memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved them. Also surviving are his adoring son-in-heart, Sean "Big Lamb" Neal; daughter-in-law, Rachel "Muffin" Neal; and his beloved grandson, Dawson "Lamber" Neal, who was his absolute heart and soul and brought immense joy to his life. He also leaves behind Sean's father, Terry Heath, with whom he shared a deep, mutual respect as a fellow father figures in Sean's life, mother in law Betty Neal, brothers-in-law Jack J. Neal and Jake Neal; sisters-in-law, Marie (Scott) Ledford and Melissa (Sonny) Danielson, and J as well as nieces and nephews: Jake, Courtney, Hudson "Newt," Josie "Baby Girl" Neal, Amy (Keith Hobbs) Neal, Sara Ledford, Hannah Ledford, Blake (Brianna) Neal, and great nephews and nieces, Hollie (Kyle) Floto, Evelyn "Evie girl",Clayton "Ziggy", Kadence, Anthem and Zion.

​His legacy of love and laughter lives on through his cousins Ginny (Mike) Wysocki Sisson, special cousin Craig Smith, Judy (Bruce) Daniels, and Jessica House (the original "Baby Cakes"), all of whom held a special place in his heart.

​An avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, Bob found freedom on two wheels and relished every moment on the open road. For over 30 years, he worked as an over-the-road truck driver for KEM, Chemical Leaman, and NEP as well as others. He was also a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 40 years, finding strength in his community and offering guidance to those navigating their own journeys.

​Bob was known for his warm spirit and his signature question at family gatherings: "When is the food going to be ready?" He cherished time spent watching The Wizard of Oz with the little ones in his life, cheering on the Yankees and the Giants, and taking his regular Tuesday evening outings with Mike Hendricks for sweet 'tater fries, chicken fingers, and a bit of luck at the casino. He will be missed by his Friday night dinner buddies, Brian, Benny, Tony, Steve, Rich and Dane. Bob's family would like to extend special thanks to Hollie, Marie and Gina for the care and loving support for Bob and family.

​A celebration of Bob's vibrant life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Dawsonville Farms.
