Richard Schreiber

Richard E. Schreiber, 80, of Windsor, NY, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2021. Richard was predeceased by his wife Katherine (Kitty) Schreiber, his parents Edward and Katherine Schreiber, his sisters Brenda Laviska, Bonnie Gincerowski, and Margaret Freelove. He is survived by his loving companion Linda Sherwood, his four children Richard (Kim) Schreiber, Cindy (Dana) Woodruff, Jeffery (Renee Dixon) Schreiber, and Colleen Zelenyak. His step-children John Adams, Angel Adams and her daughter Lacie. His sisters Jean Williams, Kathleen Polhamus, Joanne (Dave) Rowlands, Linda Fish, and his brother Ronald (Cheryl) Schreiber. Richard also had many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Richard served in the US Army, and retired from Singer Link. His favorite pastime was playing and singing in multiple bands since the 1970's. For the last 10 years he enjoyed playing in a small band with his son, his best friend Jeff. Richard always enjoyed working with his hands, creating beautiful things, a one of a kind inventor " the tinkerer". His humor, pranks, and his happy- go- way of life will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him. There will be a celebration of life at 2pm on 1/08/2022 at the Binghamton Elks Club #70, Route 11 Kirkwood, NY.
