Dr. Richard H. Fischer, of Apalachin, Richard Fischer was born in 1932 to Mildred and Albert Fischer.  Raised in the Bronx, NYC, he attended DeWitt Clinton High School, NYU and the Philadelphia School of Optometry.  He practiced optometry in Binghamton, NY for 63 years.  He is survived by a son, Bradley Fischer, daughter Lori Fischer, three grandchildren and a great grandchild.  He is also survived by Constance Fischer of Dallas Center, Iowa, as well as his dear good friends Dennis and Sondra Foreman.  He was a member of Temple Concord for over sixty years and will be interred in Westlawn Cemetery, Johnson City, on Thursday June 10th at 3:00 PM with Rabbi Barbara Goldman-Wartell will presiding.  May his soul rest in peace.
