Beloved husband Richard “Dick” Foreman, 74, passed away June 27, , 2026 at the Absolut Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Endicott, New York. He was predeceased by his mother Delores June Merritt Foremen and stepfather William Foremen, grandparents Edwin and Alice Merritt of Warren, Ohio, sister Susan Elaine Marshall. Dick is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Kay Kershner Minute Foreman. They were married January 10, 1982. Deb was Dick’s first girlfriend. They had no children, however they raised many feline fur babies throughout the years. He leaves behind sister Darlene Jane Elswick, niece Crystal Marshall and nephews Bill and Johnny Bland.

Dick was raised by his maternal grandparents Edwin and Alice Merritt. He attended Practical Bible College in Johnson City, New York. Dick was an ordained Pastor who ran the Tri-Cities Baptist Mission in Binghamton until its closure. He was a Deacon of the Park Terrace Baptist Church in Binghamton. Dick enjoyed watching both baseball and golf. His favorite television show was Perry Mason. Dick also enjoyed reading and playing the piano.

A Celebration of Dick’s life will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Brent Kenny of the Park Terrace Baptist Church officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Dick will be interred in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at a later date. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com.
