Ric F. Hensberry

Ric F. Hensberry February 11, 1956 - August 30, 2021 It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of Ric Hensberry. He was an amazing husband and father who loved his family more than life itself. His selfless acts of kindness and generosity will forever be remembered by everyone who was blessed to know him. Ric lived his life quietly caring for others. He asked for nothing in return other than spending time together. Ric was a 20-year employee at Link Flight Simulation as a Computer Specialist. He retired from the NYS Department of Technology as a Computer Network Administrator after 15 years of service. He took immense pride in his work but his children were his greatest joy and accomplishment. Ric was predeceased by his mother Margaret and his brother Ron. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Joan Hensberry, daughter Amy and Christopher Roos, son Dave and Britney Hensberry, his sister Sandra and Ken Berry, his brother Scott Rosengrant, and a loving extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date. In lieu of flowers, Ric would ask that everyone celebrate his legacy by remembering that there is nothing more important than your family and to “be the person who breaks the cycle. If you were judged, choose understanding. If you were rejected, choose acceptance. Be the person you needed when you were hurting.” We will love you forever.
