Ralph Valashinas

Ralph Valashinas, 68, of Binghamton, passed away February 22. Born January 1950 in Carbondale, PA; son of the Late John and Marguerite (Carbonneau) Valashinas and loving father of the late Brion Valashinas. Ralph was a Tool and Die Maker for Felchar Manufacturing Company and for H&M Tool & Machine Company. He was a graduate of Marywood University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. He was also a tireless advocate for peace and social justice. Surviving Ralph are his son Sean and his wife Sharon, and granddaughters Erin, Grace, and Riley, of Derry NH; his brother Albert (Tim) Valashinas, of Clark Summit, PA; daughter-in-law Theresa Valashinas of Durham, NC; nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to call Wednesday February, 28, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY, with funeral services to follow at 8:00 pm with Minister Barney Wilkins officiating. Burial at the convenience of the family.
