Our beloved mother and Nano, Patricia Ann Dwyer, 93, was called to heaven by the angels December 23, 2018. She was a caring, compassionate woman who always put others before herself. Patricia’s life centered around her family, her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her favorite times here on earth was spent playing board games and cards with her family. Patricia retired from SUNY Binghamton after many years working at Hinman Hall where she enjoyed the many students who came through the cafeteria. She was a longtime member of Saint John the Evangelist Church, The Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Altar Rosary Society. She will be remembered as a beautiful woman with a warm smile, soft skin and a gentle nature. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Tom Murphy, mother, Pauline Golden, sister, Faye Raimondi and brother, Eddie Golden. Patricia is survived by her children, Mick Dwyer, Binghamton, Kathy Dwyer, Binghamton and Mary Dwyer, Binghamton, treasured grandchildren, Rob Murphy, Endicott, Megan Wagner, Williamsburg, Va. and Patrick Wagner, Binghamton and several devoted nieces and nephews. Patricia’s family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Vestal Park Nursing Home and Lourdes Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Saints John and Andrew RC Church, 1163 Vestal Avenue, Binghamton by the Reverend Monsignor Michael T. Meagher. Interment will follow services in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
