He is survived by his niece Debbie Cahorshak, her husband Philip and their daughter Tristan, all of Cottonwood, Arizona. Norman was born in Binghamton, NY on May 7th, 1940. For someone who was 80 years old he was involved in many activities during his lifetime. He was an active participant in the Special Olympics, having won many medals over the years. He enjoyed bowling, celebrating his birthday and the numerous field trips out in the community. Norman also loved all things Western, taking a memorable trip to the O.K Carrol while visiting family in Arizona. For nearly 20 years, Norman was a devoted employee at Capabilities in Elmira, NY. He took delight in attending programs at Golden Days in Binghamton and Elderwood in Waverly. One can’t help but smile when thinking of Norman, you could always expect on getting one of his infamous, welcoming handshakes. You could count on his asking for favorite drink, Coca Cola, for which he was very passionate about. Our beloved Norman touched many of our hearts, tickled our funny bone, or just made our day a little more joyful? We will miss your gentle spirit, open heart and all the things that made you so special, you were a true treasure. The family would like to thank all the people who supported and loved Norman over the years.
