Nathaniel James Hopper

Nathaniel James Hopper, his name meaning a gift from God, passed away suddenly on May 5th, 2022 at the young age of 23.  Nate was born to Rebekah and Mark Hopper on March 26th, 1999 in Knoxville, TN.

Nate attended Chenango Valley High School.  It was there that his deep love for music grew and his desire to become a music teacher started.  After graduating high school, Nate went on to attend The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY, where he majored in Music Education and was just weeks away from graduation when he passed.  Nate was an amazing, loving, kind, generous and caring person and he will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Nate is survived by his mother Becky Hopper, his father Mark Hopper, his brother Joel Hopper, his aunt Missy Hopper and his grandmother Pam Hopper.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to honor him. The celebration will be at Calvary’s Love Assembly of God, 1315 Reynolds Rd, Johnson City, NY. 13790.
