Morton Marbaker

Morton Marbaker, 87, went home to the Lord, Sunday, September 16, 2018. His life revolved around his family. He will be forever remembered as a loving caring father, who has always done things “the right way”. An avid NY Yankees fan and was a lover of baseball, polkas and dancing. Morton was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Moose in Susquehanna, Pa. He was predeceased by wife, Kathleen and children, Jim and Penny Marbaker. Morton is survived by his children; Judy and Frank Hilkert, Susquehanna, Pa., Theodore and Diane Marbaker, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Patty Merritt, Port Crane and Paul Marbaker, Conklin, twelve treasured grandchildren and seven great-greatchildren. He leaves behind his siblings, Mildred Hagen, Clarence and Glenda Marbaker, Aubrey and Joyce Marbaker, Ruth Chapman and June Bonzek and a large extended family. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Interment will follow services in Brookside Cemetery, Franklin Forks, Pa. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
