Millie Montgomery-Mcgavin

Beloved wife, Millie Montgomery McGavin, 68, passed away August 30, 2018 after a long illness. Millie will be remembered for her friendly soul, her willingness to always help others. A graduate of SUNY Oswego, she retired from Onondaga County after her career as a social worker. She was active with Syracuse Womens Professional Association and a Board Member of SAGE Upstate. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and June Montgomery. Millie is survived by her spouse, Deborah McGavin, Syracuse and cousins, John and Elaine Ruckdeschel, Cicero, NY. She leaves behind many good friends. Funeral services will be private.
