Michael Bruce Wiesner, 80, of Binghamton passed peacefully at his home on May 10, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Michael is survived by his wife of 56 years, Saba Wiesner, his children Dr. Lawrence (Annette) Wiesner, Jeffrey (Jennifer McKinnon) Wiesner, Cherese (Andre) Wiesner Rosales and his grandchildren Gina, Skylar, Amylia, Zev, and Jasmin.
Michael was the proud owner of Wiesner Construction, Inc., a Binghamton-based construction company that he founded in 1970 with his wife Saba. Michael had the fortune in life of choosing a professional that was also his passion. He joyfully continued his work right up until his health made it so he was no longer able to do so. He built homes, apartments, and commercial buildings across Broome County, and he did so not behind a desk, but with his own hands. Although his labor was one of love, Michael’s true crowning achievement was his family, his love for each of them, and their love for him.
Funeral services will be at the DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 36 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, New York, on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 12:00 Noon.
