Michael T. Schieve

March 30, 1976 — June 6, 2025

Michael T. Schieve, 49, of Binghamton, NY, will be remembered for his kind heart and infectious spirit. He departed this world on June 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and generosity that touched the lives of many. Mike is survived by his beloved mother, Marie Schieve; his devoted brother, Joe (Shelly) Schieve; his loving fiancée, Lisa Thomas; cherished niece, Addyson Schieve; and nephew, Nathan Schieve. He also leaves behind his adored feline companion, Princess Thurman, who brought him endless joy. Predeceasing him were his father, Michael P. Schieve; his aunt, Debbi Frampton; and his treasured grandparents, Joe and Myrtle Friend and Francis and Norma Schieve.

Those who knew Mike will remember him not just for his warmth and kindness but also for his passionate spirit. He was dedicated to giving back, particularly through his cherished work with Toys for Tots, ensuring that every child felt special during the holiday season. A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, Mike’s enthusiasm for the team was unmatched, and he could often be found cheering them on with friends and family alike with the rest of Bills Mafia at Beer Tree. Alongside his partner, Lisa, he played a significant role in helping others acquire their favorite team jerseys through their business, 607 Jerseys. Their generosity did not stop there; Michael was committed to giving back, donating custom jerseys to various charities and organizations, ensuring that everyone felt the joy of team spirit. His love for baseball cards led him to the local card shop, where he enjoyed lively discussions and debates about upcoming prospects.

A celebration of Mike's life is set to take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, located at 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
