Michael Julius Mall

Michael Julius Mall, 62, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2020 while under compassionate care at Binghamton General Hospital. He grew up in Vestal, New York and graduated from Vestal Senior High School in 1976. He chose a career in printing and a variety of other service enterprises. After working in the Binghamton area for a number of years he moved to Florida where he enjoyed swimming and living near the beach, always making many friends wherever he went, eventually finding his way back north. Michael will be missed for his endless sense of humor, his great love of animals - especially his cat "Midnight", and his kind and generous ways. Michael possessed a surprising underlying strength to persevere that was admired by family and friends. He is survived by his two sisters, brother in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Albert Mall. He had been a dedicated and loving son. In light of Covid-19, a memorial service will take place once restrictions have been lifted and it is safe to travel and engage in public activities.
