Mercedes Yvonne Johnson

Beloved mother, daughter and sister, Mercedes Yvonne Johnson, 52, passed away March 17, 2021. Mercedes was kind hearted and would give anyone in need the shirt off her back. She was loving and brought a bright light to everything she participated in and everywhere she went. Her smile and laugh will be remembered by all who knew her. She was independent and a free spirit. She will be missed. She was predeceased by her mother, Grace Johnson. Mercedes is survived by her children, Christopher Johnson Bronx, NY and Jarrette Kimble, Bronx, NY, her father, Jimmy Johnson, Sr., Peekskill, NY and siblings, Mary Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Jr., Che Johnson and Michelle Perez and loving companion, Matthew Young. She leaves behind a large extended family. Funeral services will be private.
