Mary Watson, our beloved "Firecracker Aunt," went home to heaven on September 29, 2026, at the age of 83.

If you knew Mary, you understood exactly why we called her "Firecracker." She was a straight shooter who said what she felt, and that honesty was part of what made her so loved. With Mary, you never had to wonder what was on her mind!

Born in Mississippi, Mary later moved to Far Rockaway, New York, before settling in Endicott, New York, where she spent her final days. Mary shared what she wanted you to know and kept the rest to herself. In her own words, she had "loved and lost."

She leaves to cherish her memory her nephews, James Favor (Dixieann) and Eugene Favor (Deja); her niece, Precious Favor; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Rest peacefully, Aunt Mary. Your spark, your honesty, and your unforgettable spirit will always stay with us.
