Marvin Vanderpoel

Marvin LaRou VanDerpoel Marvin LaRou VanDerpoel, born May 20,1959 returned to God January 16, 2021.Marvin was the son of the late Kenneth VanDerpoel and is predeceased by his stepfather Edward Brown, brothers; Dale VanDerpoel, James Vanderpoel, Mickey VanDerpoel, and nephew James (Jimmer) VanDerpoel. He is survived by his Mother Marie Woodruff, a daughter Elisabeth Ann Mahar, siblings Roger (Brenda) Vanderpoel, Tia (Herm) Woodruff, Shawn Woodruff, Rick (Joan) Woodruff, Scott (Tammi) Brown, several Nieces and Nephews, two sister-in-laws JoAnne Swab Vanderpoel, Brenda Kithcart Vanderpoel and close friend Christine Milisavljevich. A special thanks to his brother Roger Vanderpoel and Jody Palmeter for giving so much extra of themselves. Marvin worked for the Cortland Cable Company and had many great friends there. He enjoyed taking excellent care of his animals. He loved hunting and fishing and was a true Mountain Man. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Quail Pond. He will be Greatly missed by his friends and family. A memorial service for Marvin will be held in the Spring.
