Mary P. DeAngelis, 75 of Binghamton, New York, passed away on Monday April, 21 2025 at Wilson Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Susquehanna, Pa to Benjamin and Louise (Smith) DeAngelis. She was predeceased by her long time partner David Evans, her sister Janice E Lake and Carolyn L Wood and brother Albert M DeAngelis. She is survived by her twin sister Joan M Race and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Mary lived a life full of joy, warmth, and a deep love for all creatures, especially dogs. Mary found solace and adventure at Timberline Lake, where she cherished the moments spent in her beloved camper. Her spirit thrived by the water, especially during the many delightful vacations spent at Virginia Beach, where laughter and sunshine filled her days.
Visiting hours will be Friday April 25, 2025 at DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 36 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, New York 13903 at 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 10:00 am at Sts John and Andrew R.C. Church 1263 Vestal Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903 with Father James Serowik officiating. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In Lieu of flower memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Broome County Humane Society.
