Marlene V. West

Marlene V. West died of natural causes on November 3, 2022. Marlene was born in Ohio in 1920. She earned a BFA from Ohio University in 1942. Marlene married her college sweetheart Floyd R. West at the start of his USAF service in WWII. Marlene is survived by two daughters, Laurel and Susannah, and their husbands. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Sarah, Marlene, and Dora and two great grandsons, by Marlene, Parker and Rory. Marlene and Floyd had several supportive friends and relatives that they greatly enjoyed and appreciated. Marlene and Floyd volunteered extensively in the Binghamton area. The end of her life was at Mercy House where she received loving care and comfort. There will be no funeral services, at her request.
