Mark J Hopper

Mark James Hopper, 57, of Binghamton, NY died peacefully after a brief illness on December 18, 2024. He was born in Ventura, CA where he played high school football and participated in the marching band. He loved all kinds of music, especially bands like Journey and the Eagles, and became an accomplished drummer.

Mark was a believer in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He loved worship music and studying the Bible. As an elder in his church, New Venture in Binghamton, NY, he often preached, led prayer meetings, and played in the worship band.
Mark is predeceased by his parents Prymnous James Hopper, Pamela Ann (Miles) Hopper and his son, Nathaniel James Hopper. He is survived by his son, Joel Mark Hopper, and sister, Melissa Ann Hopper

The family would like to thank his friend and pastor, Keith Kunow, and friend, Toni Dean, for all their support during the last months of his life. And we are also very grateful for every call, text, and words of love and encouragement from his community. It is truly appreciated.
