Marjorie Stenson Russell

Marjorie Alice Stenson Russell, 85, of Binghamton, NY, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 in her son’s home in Edenton, NC.  She was born in Broome County, NY on December 24, 1932, and was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Cook Stenson.  A homemaker, she was an active and faithful member of First Christian Church of Kirkwood, NY where she had served for many years as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir, and later enjoyed membership in Grace Baptist Church in Binghamton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Tyler, and by a brother, Robert Stenson. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dale Russell; a son, Mark Russell and wife, Marianne, of Edenton; a brother, Edward Stenson of Corbettsville, NY; and a grandson, Michael Eggleston. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Russell Smith officiating. Interment will follow services in the Peck Family Cemetery in Harford, PA.  Family will receive friends this Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at DeMunn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in Marjorie's name may be made to the Peck Cemetery Association.
