Marion Ruth Scofield 95, of Conklin, NY passed away peacefully December 7, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Loren Scofield. Her parents Eugene and Ruth Gregory. Sister Helen (Mickey), Brothers Lawrence (Mildred), Earl (Carolyn) and Ben Gregory. Survived by sister Betty and Bob Palmer, brothers George and Gayle and Floyd (Betty deceased), Lewis and Eileen Gregory , sister-in-law Pat Gregory. Marion is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law Judy and Art Boyle. Three adored grandchildren and spouses, Dell and Mary Boyle, Scott and Sue Boyle, Lisa and Michael Yingling, six treasured great-grandchildren Dell II, Lloyd, and Lincoln Boyle, Ben Boyle, and Ruth and Eric Yingling. Special niece Cheryl Campbell and family. Many cherished nieces and nephews and her FEF (forever friend) Skip. Marion was a hard worker, preferring to be outside gardening and doing farm work. She retired from Kroehler Mfg. Co. after 30 years. She loved her church and touched countless children with her kindness and loving heart. She always had a smile for everyone. She had a wonderful talent for sewing and making pocketbooks. She belonged to “My Brother’s Keeper” making sleeping bags for homeless people in NYC and making pillow case dresses and giving them to people all over, even Haiti. She also made many patchwork quilts. We want to thank the staff at Willow Point Nursing Homes SW1 so much for the loving care given to my mom. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Conklin Forks United Methodist Church, 4420 Brady Hill Rd, Binghamton, NY 13903.
