Marilyn Joyce Hamilton, 76, of Conklin passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. She was a wonderful person with a big heart. Marilyn graduated from West Roxbury High in Massachusetts where she spent her younger years. She relocated to Binghamton when her children moved to the area. Marilyn was a Champion for all wildlife and an avid cat lover. She owned Hamilton Travel and also read tarot cards. She was predeceased by her husband, George, her father Herbert M. Blades, siblings, Herbert F. Blades and James E. Blades. Marilyn is survived by her children; Russell and Cindy Shearing, Ernest N. Council and April J. and Joe Sabia, mother, Janice Blades, grandchildren; Tarah Lewis, Eric Shearing, Justin and Kaylee Shearing, Zariah, Zamaya and Zamora Council, greatgrandchildren, Julee and Kalin Shearing. She leaves behind brothers and sisters; Charlie Blades, Sandra and Eddie Newcomb, Doreen and Jeff Newcomb, Jeff and Judy Blades, Roberta Blades, Tammy Blades, Tommy Blades, Everett and Midge Blades, Liza and Danny Landy and many nieces and nephews.A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced shortly.
