Marie Louise Werner

Our beloved mother, Marie Louise Werner, 79, unexpectantly passed away September 21, 2020. Marie will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and volunteer within the community. She was an avid walker who loved reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a staple in Binghamton making friends wherever her daily walks took her and touched the lives of many. Marie devoted much of her life serving her children and once they left the nest, selflessly serving her community. She was extremely humble and always declined any credit for her countless hours of volunteering. She was loved by all. She was predeceased by her mother, Gertrude Lazar and sister, Liliane Lazar. Marie is survived by her children Juliet and James Daniel, Michael and Kim Werner and Jonathan and Suzanne Werner, treasured grandchildren, Uma, Hannah, Henry, Lorelei and Lincoln. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Beth David Cemetery, Conklin Road, Conklin with Rabbi Zev Silber officiating.
