Margaret L. Hall of Binghamton Margaret L. Hall, 90, of Binghamton passed away unexpectedly surrounded by loved ones on Thursday August 28, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Born February 7, 1924 in Binghamton, NY.  the daughter of the late Margaret (Wilson) and Walter Eggleston, and loving wife of fifty years of the late Richard Blair Hall, they were married January 5 , 1946 at East Side Congregational Church. . Margaret was also predeceased by her brother Erwin Eggleston and her sister Lillian Hollister. Margaret was a member of United Presbyterian Church of Binghamton, formerly West Presbyterian Church, where she also served as an Elder. She enjoyed singing for many years in the church choirs as well as in a community chorus. Margaret loved oil painting and was proud when one of her paintings received a first place award from the Fine Arts Society. She was an honor graduate of Binghamton North High School and Ridley Lowell School of Business, where she taught briefly. She was also a former employee of the Binghamton Savings Bank. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great Grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. Surviving Margaret are her children; James (Ruth) Hall of Dracut, MA., their children; Stephen, Marissa, and Jordan,  Diane (Wasser) Hall, of Brookhaven, NY. and her children; Amy, Brian and Sarah Wasser, Stephen Hall, of Lawrenceville, GA. and his sons, James and Jeffrey (Katka) and their daughter Vanesska, and Margaret (William) Sands, of Binghamton and their son David. At family's request a simple graveside service will precede internment in Floral Park Cemetery.
