Lucy Bauso

Lucy Bauso passed away December 18, 2022. She was fun and a very outgoing person. Lucy’s children agree that there will never be another Mom like her. Her granddaughter Jennifer has said: “My grandmother, my godmother, I called her Nanny. She enjoyed music, cleaning, and walks to church. She will be remembered in my heart as a warm energetic grandmother that loved me. I will miss her dearly.” Lucy was born to the Cosmo Nardilli and Rose D’Arco Nardelli. She was 17 years old when she married her first husband Enrico “Sal” Salvaggio. Later in life she married the man to was to be the love of her life, George “Nicky” Bauso. She was predeceased by both Sal and Nicky, son, Ralph Salvaggio, parents Cosmo and Rose and son-in-law John Rosa, brother Cosmo Nardelli, Jr. Lucy is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Anna and Mike Lamboy and Rose Rosa. She was a loving grandmother to Michael Donovan, Christopher Donovan, Jennifer Rosa and her fiancé, Robert Bott. Lucy leaves behind her brother Peter Nardelli and four-legged grand dog Marla. Lucy’s family would like to extend their special thanks to all the staff of Unit 2, at James G. Johnson Nursing Home for their compassionate care of Lucy for her many years with them. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Charles Opondo-Orowa officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to services. Lucy will be interred alongside her husband in Calverton National Cemetery.
