Lisa Florance-Atwell

Lisa was an unconditionally loving, kind, extraordinary soul who passed away peacefully on 1/15/2018. In her final moments she was surrounded by the love of her wife Monica Glime, son Kane Atwell, and ‘soul sister’ and aide Kim Yeomans. Once she took her last breath she was cleaned and dressed by her niece Jocelyn Davis, Kim, and cousin Sherry Florance. She fought a long, hard battle for many years with different cancers but always managed to keep a smile on her face and the faces of everyone she loved. She was predeceased by her father, Denton Florance, step father, Douglas O'Dell and father-in-law, Carl Muns. Lisa is survived by her wife Monica Glime, son Kane Atwell, step son Steven Glime, mother, Nancy Pratt-O’Dell, mother in law, Patricia Muns, brothers; Kenneth Florance and Anthony Apergis, brother in law, Ron Muns, sister, Jennifer Davis, nieces; Jocelyn Davis, Hannah and Lisa Apergis, nephews; Elijah Davis, Noah and Dunkin Apergis, grandchildren; Ayden and Ava Glime and countless other family and friends who will always love and miss her dearly.A celebration of Lisa's life will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the American Legion Post 1305, 820 Lower Stella Ireland Road, Binghamton, New York 13905.  Memorial gifts in Lisa's name may be sent to Monica Glime, 3145 Stewart Road,  #53 lot F7, Vestal NY 13850.
