Linda D Lewis

Linda D. Lewis , 74, of Binghamton NY went to be with her lord in the early hours of Saturday August 26, 2023. Linda had passed peacefully in her sleep with her loving dog Robbie by her side. Linda is predeceased by her parents Dewey and Marian Lewis, sister Donna Potter, and brother Robert Lewis. She is survived by her brothers James Lewis, Michael Lewis and sister Lisa Cicak as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to express a special appreciation to family members Sean and Brenda Jewell-Freeman for taking such great care of their aunt Linda in her final years.

Linda was a wonderful soul who loved baking, children and gardening. She was titled the green thumb of the family. Many loved seeing her bleeding heart bushes as they passed by her home. Linda was also an animal lover of all kinds from her dogs Bo-Jami and Robbie to her turtle Thomas S Turtle (the s was for stinky). Linda never had children of her own but had the joy of caring for many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews. She was the best babysitter and enjoyed every moment she had with her family. We will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held for family and friends at DeMunn Funeral home , 36 Conklin Ave , Binghamton NY 13903 on Friday, September 1, 2023 between the hours of 5pm-7pm. Private burial at Spring Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Humane Society or Broome County Dog Shelter in Linda’s memory.
