Lee Isaac Foreman, 16, passed quietly after a courageous hard-fought year-long battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma September 22, 2026.

Lee will always be remembered as putting others first, right up to the end. He was a loving brother and son, grandson, nephew and cousin. Lee was a junior at Vestal High School. An honor roll student, member of the Vestal Marching Band and Varsity swim team. He was a natural leader and the loudest voice in the pool, football field or baseball diamond rooting his teammates on.

Lee loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing, boating, jet skiing, and hunting-even getting his first white-tail buck at 15 right after a dose of chemotherapy. He loved his family property, especially the pond behind the house, as a place to decompress, have a bonfire and enjoy a few close friends and family while listening to the sounds of nature.

Lee was a big Pittsburgh sports fan, following several generations of Steelers family in attending games and waving his Terrible Towel while cheering on his beloved Steelers. He was an easy-going, mature young man who could enjoy time with younger children while also being able to hold adult conversations with friends many years older than him. His parents were told countless times how great a young man he was.

Lee is survived by his parents, Brett and Abbi Foreman, sister Shayna Foreman, grandparents Dennis and Sondra Foreman, Ilene (Ron Sacks) Pinsker and Jeffrey (Diana) Kleinwaks, uncle and aunt Howard and Suzanne Kleinwaks, cousins Ellie and Jake Kleinwaks.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Friday September 25, 2026 at Temple Israel, 4737 Deerfield Place Vestal. Interment will follow services in Temple Israel Cemetery, Conklin Road, Conklin. The family will receive family and friends on September 25,26 and 27th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm in keeping with the Jewish tradition of Shiva at their residence in Vestal. Please be mindful to keep visitation within the hours above.
