Kim Prentice, 70, of Greene, NY passed away during surgery on July 31, 2025. She was a true warrior who battled many health challenges over the past twelve years. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Patricia Prentice and brother, Greg Hepworth. Kim is survived by her life partner, Edward Kalinski, sister and brother-in-law, Debbie Prentice and Warren Polidori, sister, Karen France and James Jorgensen, her nephews, Cody (Roberto) Denari, niece Adina (Robin) Guevara, sisters & brothers, Brenda (Gregory) Sabol, Steven Hepworth, Clark (Karlyn) Hepworth and Julia (David) Jurena and her fur babies, Bebee and Jefferson. She leaves behind a large extended family and many friends
Kim graduated from Binghamton North High, class of 1973, and loved attending every reunion and class event. She was a true artist and spent years restoring antique carousel horses, many of which are in the Binghamton area. She had a lifelong love of animals, especially horses. Her Arabian horses were her pride and joy. She also loved Native American turquoise jewelry and took trips to the Southwest United States every year to add to her collection.
A celebration of Kim's life will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, August 23, 2025 at Tavern 1244 at Barons Inn, 1244 Route 12, Greene, NY.
