Kenneth R. Leonard, 69, of Binghamton, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 14, 2022 at UHS Wilson Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents, Ray and Beatrice Leonard; brother, Steven Leonard; father and mother in-law, Richard and Dorothy Luce; nephew, Joseph Alvord; and sister in-law, Sue Hoover. He is survived by his loving family: his spouse of 50 years, Christine (Luce) Leonard; three children, Matthew (Mary) Leonard, Katrina (Loris) Cabrera, and Andrew (Nicole) Leonard; six grandchildren, Matthew, Makenna, Carmen, Haley, Paige, and Gavin; six siblings, James (Michelle) Leonard, Carol (Robert) Gage, Colleen (Larry) Donahue, Christine Houston, Larry (Bev) Leonard, and Gary Leonard; three sibling in-laws, Thomas Luce, Gene Hoover, and Carol (Bill) Alvord; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and some amazing friends who were like family, Jim, Keith, Craig, Tim, and Gary.
Ken worked for Doron Precision and Universal Instruments for many years, but spent his later years at the United States Postal Service as a Postal Carrier in Whitney Point and Owego, NY. Ken was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially being able to spend time with his family at his cabin on Red Lake in Theresa, NY. He loved capturing memories – you could always find him with a camera in hand or within close reach. He was also an amazing story teller, who loved to make a “short story long”. Most of all though, Ken cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.
